What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. They help us provide you with a better experience and allow certain features to function properly.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for:

Essential website functionality (login session, language preference, admin gate)
Promo-code preservation across page loads
Cookie-consent state tracking (so we don't ask twice)

What we deliberately don't use: tracking cookies, advertising cookies, third-party fingerprinting, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design.

Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Necessary for the site to function. nl_lang stores your selected language. nl_admin is set only when you sign into the admin gate (8-hour TTL).

Preference Cookies

nl_promo remembers a promo code you arrived with so you don't lose it across pages. nl_cookie_consentrecords whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner doesn't reappear.

Analytics (cookieless by default)

We default to Plausible — a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not set cookies and does not track visitors across sites. If we ever load Google Analytics, it will only run with your explicit consent.

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View and delete cookies
Block third-party cookies
Block cookies from specific sites
Block all cookies
Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

Third-Party Cookies

We may use third-party services that set cookies, including:

Stripe for payment processing
Analytics providers for website statistics

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
